Permit Exam Day: A Calm, Practical Checklist
The night before and the morning of your exam shouldn’t feel chaotic. Use this calm checklist to walk in ready.
Exam day nerves are normal. A simple checklist keeps them from running the show.
The night before
- Stop heavy studying after an early evening review
- Lay out ID, confirmation, water, and a light snack
- Skim your weak-topic notes — no new material
- Sleep on a normal schedule
Morning of
- Eat something familiar — skip experiments
- Arrive early enough to settle, not rush
- Do 5 easy warm-up questions if it calms you; skip if it spikes anxiety
During the exam
Read every option. Flag tough items and move on. Come back with a clear head. Trust the patterns you’ve practiced.
